TerraSofta has released a new MP3 Player and music trainer designed specifically for
musicians.
With mTrax, you will \"Divide and Conquer\", or more precisely, \"Divide, Slow Down,
Loop and Conquer\". The concept is actually simple: Learn the songs that you like by
adjusting the tempo to a manageable speed and focusing on the difficult parts, says
Pierre-Jean Rollando, founder and President of TerraSofta.
mTrax allows a user to view and play their entire music library as well as the
ability to create Practice Lists within their music library. When a song is moved
into the mTrax Practice List, the user can create sections by ear to focus on the
tricky parts. The user can slow down the tempo without affecting the pitch, and
loop through these sections at a slow and more manageable tempo for learning by ear.
The user can cycle through loop iterations at significantly slower tempo, original
tempo or a slower tempo that increases logarithmically or linearly with each loop
iteration.
mTrax is easy to use yet is powerful as both an MP3 Player and a music trainer with
its extensive sorting, filtering and grouping capabilities.
